The essentials of PalmScan
Portability:
Portability brings convenience and efficiency. In today's competitive

MHz sampling rate, the PalmScan Pachymeter is the fastest digital
Pachymeter in the market today. This sampling speed equates to a device
accuracy of +3.1 microns and it allows us to create corneal waveforms
never before displayed on a pachymeter. In A-Scan mode PalmScan
actually slows its sampling rate by half. This equates to an accuracy
of +5.75 microns. This superior accuracy translates to
reproducible results that will give you the confidence you need to make
your timely decisions.
Upgradeability:
PalmScan devices are field software upgradeable. This means that new
releases of the system software can be loaded to systems that are out
in the field. This ensures that users have access to the latest
software releases available. In addition, PalmScan A2000 (A-Scan) and
PalmScan P2000 (Pachymeter) are upgradeable to the PalmScan AP2000
(A-Scan/Pachymeter combination device). Micro Medical Devices offers a
simple and inexpensive upgrade process whereby the customer sends us
their current PalmScan device for a quick-turn hardware upgrade.
Connectivity:
The ability to easily transfer captured data from a medical device to a
network PC is the corner stone of design at MMD. MMD is an innovator in
utilizing commercially available wireless networking technology
(Bluetooth, 802.11, etc.) in order to bring a new age of connectivity
to the world of medicine.
