PalmScan P2000 with 50 MHz Pachymeter probe for easy
peripheral pachymetry
LRI software for LRI surgical plans with
- Preset and Customizable Nomograms

and LRI
Micro Medical Devices has introduced its exclusive LRI-Package, tailored for correction of astigmatism, as an
option for its PalmScan P2000 and AP2000 pachymeters. The
LRI package includes a 50MHz pachymeter probe that allows
for fast and accurate peripheral corneal measurement and
software to calculate the size, location and depth of LRI/AK
incisions. The results are
displayed to the user in the form of a graphical and textual
"surgical plan" that can be printed or displayed on the
PalmScan device.

Simply make pachymetry measurements along the location of
the LRI incisions. If the patient has a steep axis of 45
degree, the red-marked measurements would be necessary.
|
 |
|
Enter the amount of Astigmatism (Flat and Steep Ks), the
angle of the Steep Axis and Patient's Age and let PalmScan's
LRI software draw out the LRI surgical plan for you.
PalmScan also lets you customize your own LRI nomograms.
|
|
|
To perform concurrent Cataract and LRI procedures, select
the Concurrent option from the LRI Menu.
|
 |
Here you need to also enter the Axis of the Cataract
Incision (we have entered 0 degrees for this example) and
the cataract Incision type which you can predefine with your
own specific amount of induced Astigmatism (we have entered
0.75 Diaptors of Induced Astigmatism).
|
 |
|
By selecting the "Full Page" button, PalmScan will display a
detailed version of the surgical plan with information on
start and end points for each incision.
The noise like figure at the corner of the screen is
designed to be used as a reference point to eliminate any
axis errors.
