Installation guide for FastPach Software on a Palm Handheld Platform

 If the software is already installed on the unit, then the following steps

needs to be taken in this exact order.

1.       Install new PRC file
Click on the new download file from your primary PC to add it to the Palm Quick Install list. Make sure that you select the correct user name for your device. Sync your handheld unit with the PC and make sure the PRC file is removed from the Quick Install list. This ensures that the new software was loaded to your handheld.

2.       Check the version number of Software
Check the software version number to make sure it is the one you expect. Do this by entering the PalmScan application on the handheld. In the software's "Main Page", click on "Main" in the upper left hand corner of the screen. This will show you the Options Menu. Select About to view the software version.

3.       Set default preferences
Navigate to the preferences page and select the defaults button at the top of the screen.
